Captain Dwayne McCullough,
U.S.M.M., (Ret.), currently coordinates the Virtual
Bookstore and is the Help Desk Technician for the
RODP Central Office with the
Tennessee Board of Regent's Online Degree Program. The
RODP Virtual Bookstore brings together cutting edge
online education technology and the time honored tradition
of paper books. Ever changing and growing with the advent
of newer, more streamlined and efficient means of delivering
educational material to online students, the RODP Virtual
Bookstore strives to meet the new standards demanded of
online education.
Prior to joining TBR, Mr. McCullough was the webmaster
and an assistant faculty trainer at
Cleveland State Community College.
Currently, he operates a small free-lance programming
business (M&P Coding) doing mostly non-profit and charity
work for local and State-wide outreach groups throughout the
southeast United States and Canada. Specializing in VB
coding, database integration and web site design, Mr.
McCullough has built a reputation as an effective solution
developer. Recently he created a new for-profit
company called
McPC to meet the ever growing requests from non
charitable organizations.
He has been a
civil rights lobbyist and an organizer for groups such
as the
AFL-CIO,
UNITE (New York, NY) and
CWA as well as an international organizer for
OMU and
NOPEF in
Norway and throughout the Gulf States.
Prior to this, Mr. McCullough served as a
United States Merchant Marine Officer and is a licensed
Ship Master, commanding supply vessels throughout the
world for 10 years.
Before joining the Merchant Marines he served in the
U.S. Army as a Tactical / Fixed Station
Telecommunications Center Operator (72E/72G) and is a combat
veteran of the liberation of
Kuwait.
Mr. McCullough earned his Masters qualifications from
Houston Marine and the
United States Coast Guard and is currently enrolled in
Computer Science degree programs and
certification programs for network (A+, N+, L+, MCP,
MCSA, MCSE and CCNA) and database specialties and Westwood
College seeking a BS in E-Commerce.
